Credit Suisse grows alternatives

Credit Suisse has formed three new alliances around the globe to boost its alternatives business as pension funds allocate more money to the sector.

Pension funds worldwide have invested $77bn (€60bn) of new money in alternative investments during 2005, up by nearly a quarter from the previous year according to recent research from consultancy Watson Wyatt.
