Credit Suisse’s head of financial institutions M&A departs

Credit Suisse has made $86m from advising financial institutions on M&A in 2019, placing it ninth in the market, according to Dealogic

The head of mergers and acquisitions covering financial institutions at Credit Suisse has left the bank after nearly five years to launch his own venture.

Felix Scherzer, a former Morgan Stanley dealmaker who joined the Swiss bank in 2015, has departed. His replacement has not yet been named.
