Credit Suisse has hired the former European head of equity derivative sales from Société Générale in London, adding to the more than 70 hires the Swiss bank made last year.

Yannick Mallegol, European head of institutional sales for equity flow products, left SocGen in December and will join Credit Suisse in a similar role this year, according to a source close to the Swiss bank. Credit Suisse declined to comment.
