Credit Suisse has signed a partnership with the UK's largest pension fund, the £56 billion Universities Superannuation Scheme, that will facilitate lending to middle-market companies in Europe.

The deal will involve USS lending to asset managers and private equity firms that in turn lend to companies in the broader economy, tapping Credit Suisse's expertise and contacts to do so.
