Credit Suisse hires new Asia-Pacific ETF head

Swiss bank recruits from Lyxor Asset Management as it aims to get a foothold in the ETF industry in Asia-Pacific

Credit Suisse has appointed a new head of exchange traded funds in Asia Pacific into a newly created role as the Swiss bank aims to become a top five provider of the financial product in the region.

Joseph Ho, who has joined from Lyxor Asset Management, will be based in Hong Kong and build the Swiss bank's ETF platform in Asia including Japan. He will report to Neil Harvey, head of Asia Pacific for asset management and Dan Draper, global head of ETFs based in London.
