Credit Suisse is considering exiting some of its businesses and boosting its presence in areas including emerging markets and structured products in an effort to drive growth.

Credit Suisse chief executive Oswald Grübel said the bank has delivered on its promise to restore its financial ratios and is now focusing on future growth, partly by "increasing its footprint in high-growth markets and products".
