Credit Suisse has elevated 19 people in its London office to the position of managing director as part of the Swiss bank's 2017 round of promotions.

Of the new London MDs, 11 work in global markets, three in investment banking and capital markets, four in operations, risk, project management and finance, and one in the bank's non-core strategic resolution unit.
