Credit Suisse wants to hire another 1,000-plus relationship managers globally during the next three years, according to a Singapore Business Times interview with Walter Berchtold, the chief executive of the Swiss bank’s private banking unit.

He said Credit Suisse is looking to poach from other banks to add to the group's 3,370 relationship managers, and added that there were particularly good opportunities to hire during the credit crunch.
