Credit Suisse has hired Tom Sanzone, chief information officer and head of operations for global corporate and investment banking at Citigroup, as group chief information officer. He will also become a member of the executive board for Credit Suisse's banking business.

Sanzone will join Credit Suisse next Monday, and will assume his executive board role from January 1 next year.
