Credit Suisse Group's private banking unit plans to use a private placement to secure a listing on the Swiss Exchange for Absolute Private Equity, one of its venture capital funds.

The unit is currently marketing Absolute Private Equity, the fourth fund of its kind set up by the private banking team, to high net worth individuals and institutional clients ahead of the listing, planned for the end of October.
