Finma identified shortcomings that 'occurred repeatedly over a number of years'

Swiss regulators have identified “deficiencies” in Credit Suisse’s efforts to combat money laundering in cases involving the world football federation Fifa and state-owned oil companies in South America.

The Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority said in a statement on Monday that Credit Suisse had infringed its “anti-money laundering supervisory obligations” between 2006 and 2014.
