Credit Suisse has promoted Manny Santayana to head of global sales for Advanced Execution Services replacing one of the founders of its highly regarded algorithmic trading unit who left to join a new European trading venue.

New-York based Santayana has been appointed head of AES global sales reporting to Steve Garnett, head of the alternative execution product group.
