Credit Suisse 'superstar' Amine switches to New York

Bank shakes up investment banking leadership

Credit Suisse investment banking global co-head Jim Amine, one of the Swiss bank's London-based stars, will move to the US at the end of the year to focus on running the business in the Americas and Asia, while the chief executive of Credit Suisse's Italian business is heading to London to focus on Europe as Amine's global co-head.

Credit Suisse revealed the planned changes at the top of its investment banking team in a pair of memos to staff today by Paul Calello, chief executive of Credit Suisse's investment bank, and Eric Varvel, chief executive for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
