Credit Suisse has promoted one of its star bankers for the second time in barely nine months in the latest example of a shift in investment banking power to London from New York.

Jim Amine, co-head of global leveraged finance at Credit Suisse, today took charge of the bank’s global capital markets and financing business, called global markets solutions, and has also gained joint oversight of the investment banking division.
