Credit Suisse has named the former group chief operating officer of Standard Chartered to the board of its UK operations.

The Swiss bank has hired Doris Honold as the chair of its risk committee and as a non-executive director at Credit Suisse International and Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Ltd, two UK-based entities overseeing its trading and wealth management businesses, according to a statement.
