Credit Suisse is set to fast-track its junior bankers in the latest bid to retain analysts and associates amid an ongoing burnout crisis in the sector.

The Swiss bank is shortening its programme for analysts from three to two years, according to people familiar with the matter, in a move that will help it compete against Wall Street rivals on retention of juniors.
