Credit Suisse is on course to complete a three-year restructuring in 2018 and plans to return half of its profits to shareholders in the coming years, chief executive Tidjane Thiam will tell attendees at the bank's annual investor day.

Outlining objectives for 2019 and 2020, the CEO will tell shareholders "our strategy is working" and announce plans to distribute 50% of net income to investors through share buybacks and special dividends.
