Credit Suisse to settle U.S. probe

Credit Suisse Group said it is in advanced talks to pay $536 million to settle U.S. probes into financial transactions by persons or groups subject to U.S. sanctions.

On Tuesday, the Swiss bank said it was close to settling probes by the Manhattan District Attorney's Office, the U.S. Department of Justice, the Federal Reserve and the U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control.
