Creditex, the online marketplace for credit derivatives, has named John Chalsty, former chairman of Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette, as an adviser to its board of directors.

Chalsty, who is also senior adviser to Credit Suisse First Boston, will be advising Creditex on strategic planning and the development of its business.
