Crispin Odey defence fails to convince judge to throw out sex assault trial

The judge ruled that the case should resume on 11 March. Odey pleads not guilty to sexually assaulting a young banker in 1998

The indecent assault trial of hedge fund millionaire Crispin Odey will conclude next month after the judge dismissed an attempt by the defence to have the case thrown out of court.

Odey faces one charge of indecent assault after allegedly groping a junior banker at his Chelsea home in 1998 — something he denies.
