Croatia opens bidding for €500m Eurobond

Emerging market bankers are hoping to break Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein's stranglehold on Eurobond mandates from the Croatian government, after the finance ministry asked for bids on a new deal.

Last March Dresdner Kleinwort Benson led a €500m ($470m) deal and the previous February jointly managed the country's first euro deal with Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB).
