Crypto firm Copper appoints Philip Hammond as chair

The UK’s former chancellor Philip Hammond has been appointed chair at Mayfair-based crypto firm Copper.

Hammond, who has had a senior adviser role at the firm since October 2021, steps into the new post as of 26 January.
