Michael Kenneally has been appointed global chief executive at Credit Suisse Asset Management (CSAM), the institutional and mutual fund asset management arm of Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB).

Kennelly joins from Bank of America where he was president of investment management and chief investment officer. He was also chairman and investment chief at Banc of America Capital Management, the asset management arm.
