Credit Suisse Asset Management (CSAM), the institutional and mutual fund asset management arm of Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB), has poached Lawrence Haber, Merrill Lynch Investment Managers' chief financial officer, to take on the same role in the Swiss firm's New York office.

Haber will report directly to Michael Kenneally, CSAM's chairman and global chief executive officer, and will join the firm's global executive committee.
