CSAM Switzerland appoints Schenk chief investment officer

Credit Suisse Asset Management (CSAM) has appointed Christoph Schenk as the new chief investment officer for CSAM Switzerland as part of the firm's drive to raise its profile in the domestic market for institutional investment advisory business and asset management.

Schenk was previously the chief executive of ABB Vorsorge, the Swiss pension fund manager. ABB is a European electrical engineering company and its Swiss pension fund, ABB Anlagestiftung, currently represents most of ABB Vorsorge's portfolio.
