Credit Suisse First Boston has recruited Jacob Palmstierna, a leading light in Scandinavian investment banking, as a senior advisor to boost its business in the region.

Palmstierna, who will concentrate on investment banking, will also work closely with groups from the bank's private equity, fixed income and equities divisions.
