Credit Suisse First Boston, which announced a wholesale restructuring across its business groups two weeks ago, has named 142 new managing directors.

The appointments in London include Marc Rubinstein, head of European wholesale banking research; Frank Heitmann, head of the European convertibles group; and Kenneth Kane, head of portfolio trading.
