Parmalat, the collapsed Italian dairy group now led by turnaround specialist Enrico Bondi, has launched a near €250m ($309m) legal claim against Credit Suisse First Boston relating to a €500m convertible bond deal the investment bank underwrote in January 2002.
The move by Parmalat, which has also filed a law suit against Citigroup and has been tipped to take action against Bank of America, came just a day after it sued its former auditors, Grant Thornton and Deloitte for a total of €10bn.
