Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) has created a unit it hopes will bring together its debt capital markets (DCM) and investment banking coverage of financial institutions.

The Swiss bank has formed a financial institutions financing and liability management group, headed by Anthony Faulkner and Manuel de Souza-Girão. The unit will comprise bankers from DCM, fixed income and the financial institutions group in investment banking.
