Cube Capital, the alternatives investment firm, has hired Shailen Modi as chief operating officer. Modi will be responsible for the firm's worldwide operations, finance, and technology functions, and will be a member of the risk committee. He previously worked at fund of hedge funds Fauchier Partners, where he was a partner, chief financial officer and chief operating officer until June 2012.
