Former chief adviser to the Prime Minister, Dominic Cummings, has launched a blistering attack on Boris Johnson following briefings from Number 10 that said he was the “chatty rat” behind a series of damaging leaks.

In a blogpost published on 23 April, denied being the so-called “chatty rat” who leaked details of the November Covid-19 lockdown to the press in advance of the official announcement from the Prime Minister.
