Terry McCaughey, a veteran in the custody and settlement business who made a name for himself at HSBC's securities processing business, has joined Citisoft, the specialist investment management consulting firm, as a senior advisor.

McCaughey, who will advise Citisoft on business strategy, spent 15 years with the HSBC group, the last seven as head of the Global Investor Services, the bank's securities processing business.
