CVC and PAI to sell French petcare group

Goldman Sachs has been hired by buyout firms CVC Capital Partners and PAI Partners to sell their stakes in Provimi, a French animal feed manufacturer.

CVC and PAI own three quarters of Provimi with 25.4% as a free float on Euronext. Last week, the share price rose to €31.50, near its 52-week high, and gave the company a market capitalisation of €822m ($1.05bn).
