A former private equity banker at EQT Partners has been named sole head of Nordic investment banking at Nomura, just months after joining the Japanese firm and following the relocation of his former co-head to Hong Kong.

Mikael Dahl has been named sole head of Nordic investment banking at Nomura, after Petter Sternby, his former co-head, moved to Hong Kong to become a senior member of the bank's Asia ex-Japan financial institutions group.
