Damien Loveday, one of the best-known hedge fund research specialists, has left his role at Willis Towers Watson to join the London office of a US-based alternatives manager.

Loveday, who has several times been named an FN Rising Star, was global head of diversifying strategies at the consultancy. He was no longer listed on the UK Financial Services Register as working for the firm as of September 9.
