Two convertibles specialists who joined Castle Harbour Securities late last year to launch a new fund have left after a matter of months, resurfacing as partners at an alternative investment advisory firm led by a former GLG partner known as 'Captain Magic' in yachting circles.

Damien Regnier and Eric Daniel, who joined merchant banking boutique Castle Harbour in October and December respectively, left the firm at the end of March, according to the UK's Financial Services Register.
