Damovo edges closer to default

Damovo, the European telecoms service provider, is close to breaching the covenants on its outstanding debt after the company announced yesterday that a poor performance from its Italian operations had reduced its free cash-flow.

The UK-based company, which is owned by private equity firm Apax Partners, is moving closer to default and corporate restructuring, bankers said.
