Arold promoted to head of German capital markets

Calyon, the corporate and investment banking arm of Crédit Agricole, today appointed two new directors and promoted Ivonne Arold, who joined from Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein in April, to run its German capital markets business.

Jean-Dominique Comolli, chairman of Altadis, the French tobacco group, and Frank Dangeard, chairman and chief executive of Thomson, the French electronics firm join as directors of the board. They were appointed following the company's annual general meeting yesterday.
