Dassault Systèmes privatisation goes ahead

The French government has finally sold its stake in Dassault Systèmes, the French software maker, after awarding the mandate for the deal more than two years ago.

Credit Suisse First Boston and SG are joint lead managers of the sale and have held the mandate since February 2001. Morgan Stanley lost out on the role despite having regularly advised Dassault since its IPO and having been involved in several of the company's larger transactions.
