Data Explorers, the securities finance systems provider, has launched an expansion drive with the appointment of John Munro, former managing director at SunGard, the IT group.

Munro, who was managing director of SunGard's investment systems division in the UK, joins Data Explorers as managing director of its new securities lending data system.
