Former Prime Minister David Cameron directly lobbied senior Treasury official Sir Tom Scholar over Greensill Capital by phone and text message, a parliamentary committee heard.

Giving evidence on 22 April, Scholar said on Cameron called him and messaged him on his official mobile phone number, which the former prime minister had from his time working in government.
