Businesses involved in artificial intelligence — which is increasingly being adopted by financial services firms — should expect "rapid change" in regulation after Brexit, the government's chief negotiator has warned.

David Davis, the Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union, said on Thursday that "there will be significant regulatory divergence" within some sectors once the Brexit transition period ends in December 2020.
