Centerview Partners has hired a consumer sector specialist from UBS, reuniting the banker with former colleague Roland Phillips, the former head of European consumer and retail investment banking at the Swiss bank, who joined the independent advisory house last year.

David Krap will join Centerview as a principal in January, according to people familiar with the appointment. He was previously an executive director at UBS, responsible for covering the consumer sector.
