David Willetts, the Conservative shadow trade and industry secretary in the UK, has joined Punter Southall as a senior policy advisor on pensions.

Willetts, the shadow work and pensions secretary from 2001 until May 2005, has been brought in to advise the actuarial consultanty and chair a series of seminars and workshops on pensions.
