A consortium set up by DB Capital Partners, the venture capital firm owned by Deutsche Bank, has entered into exclusive talks with UK brewer Scottish & Newcastle over the long-awaited sale of Center Parcs.

DB Capital, which has formed a consortium with French leisure group Pierre et Vacances, has long been in negotiations with Scottish & Newcastle, but the brewer had also been courted by a range of rival bidders.
