DC Advisory Partners battles to hold on to talent

Incoming chief executive faces an early challenge to hold onto senior staff as he seeks to reinvigorate the former Close Brothers advisory business

One of DC Advisory Partners’ most senior London-based executives has quit to join a rival but a second has been persuaded to stay with the firm after a week of intense negotiations with incoming chief executive Paul Mullins.

Daniel Morland, co-head of debt advisory at DC Advisory partners, and Simon Tilley, head of the European financial sponsors group, both handed in their notice at the end of December, and were poised to join boutique advisory firm Gleacher Shacklock.
