The former head of North American distribution at Morgan Stanley Investment Management has joined US boutique DDJ Capital Management, taking on a newly created post at the leveraged credit specialist.

Jack O'Connor has been named senior vice president and will lead business development and client service at the firm, which manages $6.1 billion.
