Deutsche Asset Management (DeAM) has won a new investment mandate from the pension fund of J O Plowright, the UK shipbrokers.

Punter Southall, the UK-based consulting actuary, was appointed by the shipbrokers last year to help provide investment advice for the £3m (€4.70m) scheme's review process. Legal & General (L&G) previously managed the entire scheme, with responsibility for all investment, as well as actuarial and administration services
