DeAM departures fuel London job fears

Deutsche Asset Management has made Stephen Barrow, its London-based joint-head of global equities, redundant, increasing speculation that the firm will shift its European and global equity desks to Frankfurt in the New Year and slash fund management jobs in the UK.

Barrow, a respected equities head, ran the global desk alongside Marina Lund who is understood to be staying with the firm.
