DeAM insurance co-head quits

Robert Goodman, co-head of Deutsche Asset Management's insurance division appointed a year ago when the group split the leadership of the team, has left to join an independent investment house based in the US.

Goodman has joined Sterling Stamos as global head of private equity and real assets, and will be responsible for the division's management, fundraising and operations, as well as its investments. He was co-head of Deutsche Asset Management's insurance practice, as well as vice-chairman and a member of the group's global operating committee.
